Blood From A Rose is a collection of stories by author Sharon Skinner. I had donated custom cover concept and photoshoot or illustration to a charity auction (Geeks4Good) and Sharon was the high bidder. Once she decided which book she wanted me to work with, I began by delivering this concept image once I heard the title and the premise of the book. I reached out to model Lindsey Lockwood to collaborate with me at the Scottsdale, Arizona studio with the grand chandelier in the background. With a real rose and some fake blood Lindsee got into character wearing just a mens button up shirt to set the mood. The book was released in 2022 and is available on Amazon at the link below. Note that the cover is printed with a satin finish that mutes the color of the scan, but it looks and feels fantastic.
